A shyam Gopal Verma film is a 2015 Telugu satirical crime comedy film written and directeted by Rakesh Srinivas, a debutant. Vijaya Kumar Raju and Rakesh Srinivas himself produced the film.The film casts Shafi, Zoya Khan, LB Sriram and others in prominent roles. The film tells the story of an ardent film director, who is always keen to make extremely violant films with a lot of gore. His only aim was to make a quick buck without respecting the craft or social or moral values. But later he realizes the price he has to pay for making such violent films. Shyam gopal verma was an egoist who always looks for his own bebefit and always consider other sunordinates as an instrument to make money. For that he adopted any means in the story line and didn't cosiderer its consequences on the society especially on the younger generation. Once he himself realized the negative side of his films and then it was too late to mend it. His life takes a turn for the bad when he is kidnapped by an unidentified person. The kidnapper left to fend for himself for weeks inside a large room in the thick forest. The paradox of the film is that the kidnapper had got inspiration to do so was from his own film and he became help less before him. He suffered a lot inside the room and he could find any way to escape. Then follows the exiting story of his escape and the revenge (?) upon the mysterious man, who kidnapped him. Though it explores a new idea and story into the film it was not a success as expected and received many mixed and negative reviews. The sotry was actually too short for a film and was good for a short film. So the movie has some elements of delicacy in that point. A good number of parodic titles used in this aprt from some serious sounding questions to SGV, to remaind us of some real-life character and his 'profound' philosophy. But Shafi is surprisingly good and shows his power again as a talented actor. It is a one time watchable movie, provided that it conveys some important social and moral lessons useful to the society.
